Entering the world of science, particularly in Physics, the Big Bang Theory is a comedy sitcom that shows what happens when hyperintelligent roommates/physicists Sheldon and Leonard meet Penny, a beautiful woman moving in next door who made them realize and wake up from the reality that they know next to nothing about life outside their laboratory.
Leonard is an experimental physicist with an IQ of 173 who amazingly received his Ph.D. when he was only 24 years old. He was known for his works with lasers, but he unsuccessfully attempted to disprove the existence of dark matter. Sheldon, on the other hand, is a theoretical physicist with an M.S. Degree and two Ph.Ds. All his life, he spent much of his career attempting to prove string theory over loop quantum gravity.
